Clydes At Mark Center in Alexandria

Enjoyed the ambiance but extremely disappointed in the wharf platter. Three very small oysters and three very tiny littleneck clams . the one shrimp was good but it didn't make up for the skimpy shellfish. Would not recommend it.Beet salad was very good. Meatloaf was also very good and fresh warm bread was delicious.

First time visit to this location. Atmosphere was nice, but service started off slow in the beginning. Service is the reason for the 4 star rating. Our food came out fast and was perfect. Easy to get here and plenty of on site parking available. I recommend this location!

A very fancy place- beautiful. I just went for drinks and their cocktails were pretty dang good (especially the apple-tini). The bartender was super nice and friendly, and good at recommendations.

Went here with sister the other day. It was a nice atmosphere, and the art hanging all over is really enjoyable to look at. I had a cheeseburger and it was good. The fries were a little disappointing because they were kind of limp. Maybe they are not always that way, but it’s not cheap to go there, so I expected better quality. I would go back and try something else for sure.

It's comfortable and great food! A little off the beaten path, but that also makes it convenient with easy access. Food and service is excellent, as with all Clyde's Group places. The decor hasn't changed in the 20 years I've gone there, but it has been kept up very well, and I feel like the 90's nautical look is coming g back in. Weekend brunch/lunch is superb...not an overpriced buffet...just good brunch-ish foods on the menu.

This was my favorite place until we have to deal with such a rude lady named, Blair. She welcomed us with the rudest personality she could display and when we ask her we would like to be seated, she told us they have stopped sitting. We called prior to going and we were told the last person they will sit is at 8:30. We got there at 7:48. When we told her its just 7:48, she rolled her and she left the desk assuming we would follow her. I asked to speak the manager, and didn't seem to care AT ALL! NOT COMING BACK UNTIL THEY GOT BETTER STAFF AND MANAGMENTS BACK!

We live right across the street from Clyde’s and we LOVE IT. We come here often as the food is so good and the service is wonderful. The atmosphere is great. We have a 5 month old, so being able to walk over and grab a booth in the bar area is so convenient. I’m trying to come up with my favorite dish, but everything that I’ve tried has been delicious. Recently I’ve been ordering the fried chicken rice bowl and I’m still not sick of it. Can’t say enough good things about Clyde’s.

Even the take out is delicious! My Mom didn't want to venture out on a cold winter day, so we brought her favorites to her. Clyde's crabcakes sandwich and fries was just what she asked for. Delicious . Hot.You made that Birthday Girl very happyThank you

Went here with my wife, we usually get the Buffalo wings they were great. Our waiter was non existent after we got our wings. The manager did check on us though and I appreciate that.

Last March. we met up with family for dinner. We were seated in the back bar. The decor seemed outdated and shabby and not as regal as some of the other inner rooms. I remember the food being just okay, however, the vintage pieces I liked. Also. the lights inside and outside made it look festive. I don’t know if I will return to this location.

The decor is 5 plus stars. The brunch food was okay. Scrambled eggs with crab was a bit dry. Coffee was decent.

Very good food and service.They've got carryout and limited dine in and outside service available. If you want to eat at the restaurant, make a reservation and go early.I've not used their carryout service, but I would order as early as possible because their kitchen closes at 9 P.M. So order before 8:30. Honestly, I would strongly suggest orderong by 8:15 at the latest. Especially if you're ordering for more than 2 people.Finally, their health and safety precautions are good. All of their employees wear masks and gloves the entire time and there are hand sanitizer dispensers in multiple locations inside the restaurant. The interior seating is near their bar. Each booth has an empty booth on either side of the one you will be sitting in. The empty booths are fairly discreetly covered/barricaded.There's signage as you enter the restaurant and the outdoor dining area that explains their mask wearing requirements. The same information is also on their website.

Neighborhood staple. Have frequented over the years. I appreciate their converting the parking lot into a temporary patio in response to COVID-19. As a starter we ordered jumbo shrimp & selected the lobster as the entree. Each was priced lower than what I remember, which could be a result of the pandemic. The quality of the food was very high. The service lacked a bit, but it may be due to overstretched staff? Will be returning soon.

What an amazing place! So magical. We went to a late dinner after a show near by. We had an amazing time. Great staff very friendly with a wonderful wine selection. Can't wait to come back!

Their Oyster Happy Hour is the best deal in town, always a great selection of the freshest oysters too!

I had to try the Beyond Burger. The Hostess gave me a tour. The pics in the sailboat room are for handicap accessible dining. And, there is also a ramp down the twinkle lights hallway to the bar. And they keep an extra wheelchair on site. It's an amazing beautiful restaurant where weddings and events are hosted.

We had a birthday party for my Mom in their "patio" area...food was delicious. Loved the salmon.

Clyde's is a well designed and trendy place to go. Extensive menu with raw bar. Staff seems over worked and although pleasant they were slow on service. It took longer to get our checks than to eat our dinner. Had a long hair in my salad and couldn't find our waiter to complain. Portions almost to big to enjoy.

Had a great time. But that was because of the company I had. The cocktails were okay. My crabcake was good but small for the price. The ambience was nice. So overall it was a good experience. 👍

On couple of occasions, a regular three course meal would take around 2 hours. But most of times, they’re great! Great food, service and atmosphere.

Great place for oysters, sampler at happy hour is a deal. Bloody Maryland has a surprise giant shrimp. For the sweet tooth, brownie sundae is warm and cold with whipped and ice cream!

Very nice restaurant, service is very good, but price is kinda high for lunch, we ordered crab dip, Calamari for appetizers. My husband ordered the sliders and that was an appetizer menu and i ordered one crab cake, 2 latte and one cheesecake and the final price was $96. Its a decent experience though..

Had date night with wifey in a great quiet setting for a table of 2. Nice to have a place to hang your jacket at your booth. Waiter was very friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic. Take a look at the house salad, Pork Belly Buns (appetizer), Crab Cakes and Lamb Shank. We will continue to have date night there!

One of my regular go to restaurant in Alexandria. Serving fresh, healthy, seasonal farm products at a reasonable price. My favorite time is lobsterfest in September/October. You can dine on fresh lobsters flown in daily from Maine for under $30 with trimmings. The French onion soup is always outstanding, along with the Reuben sandwich, crab cakes and wild Atlantic salmon. Good handicap access and free parking.

I like that they created a large outdoor dining area in the parking lot. The canopies would probably keep you dry in all but the most torrential downpours. Each table also has a high-mounted fan which provides a comfortable breeze and keeps the mosquitoes away.The service was good. Our kids’ meals did come out a few minutes before our adult entrees, however. Eggs Benedict was ok. It could have used more hollandaise sauce. The Reuben was good, with about 1/3 lb of corned beef. The kids’ American Cheeseburger” is a full 1/4 lb, and my son loved it. Kids’ chicken tenders were a very small portion (see photo).Good selection of beer on tap.

Nice atmosphere and friendly, but slow service. Ordered a simple cheeseburger, cooked medium. Came out (very) well-done. Never got the iced tea we ordered. Sat for about 20 minutes after we finished, waiting for the check. Chicken penne pasta was very bland. Not quite what I'd expect at this price point.

Always great food! One more thing they are doing right is making sure their diners are safe from COVID 19. Their distancing, cleanliness and mask rules are on point.

Clyde's has been serving really good food for at least 25 years or more. There Thanksgiving Day special is the best,along with everyday Crab cakes. Really appreciate there fish pond out front.

Fantastic hunting lodge ambiance. Really excellent food ($20-$25 mostly) that looks and tastes as if it were more expensive. Not crowded when we went on a week night. Great experience.

We used to visit on Sunday's regularly with a group of 6 to 10 people...but the Service Was absolutely horrible. They just couldn't get it together. They wouldn't visit us when we first sat down. They wouldn't get our food to his correctly or properly cooked. So we stopped going there. . This particular visit was quite nice. I sat at the bar. The bartenders would did a good job. The oysters are great. The wings are good. But service for large groups is marginal at best.

This Clyde's is a great local bar and restaurant. Lots of familiar faces. The happy hour raw bar is unmatched. The bartenders are some of the best around. This is a great place for classic American fare done really right.

The food was good. The customer service was excellent. I was out with my friend who is blind. The greeters, and waitresses did a great job helping with everything. They were warm, friendly, and very attentive to our needs.

This is a really high quality restaurant that I've been going to since I was a child. The service has always been great and so has the food. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for some really good seafood and an overall great dinner. They also have great desserts, and even added candles on top of the icecream for my brother's birthday. ;D

A little pricey but.Had a coupon. Worth full price.if not. Great food service shipper clean. Fresh food tender steak great drinks. Happy to see them open get res but they have first come first serve outdoor seating.

A great place for meeting people, and having a conversation over good food and drink. We went for lunch, the food, the service and the atmosphere were wonderful! I will definitely go back. Nautical, Appalachian and Chesapeake Bay themed areas were very comfortable.

This restaurant SPARKLES with EXCELLENCE. The staff here puts the capital "C" in the word "Customer Service." The food is here is SUPERB! My hats off to all of the chefs. Keep up the great COOKING. I highly recommend this great restaurant.
